As a UK work permit holder, if you have lived and worked in the UK for five years, you can apply for permanent residency. Transfers from intra-companies & permanent residency

You must receive a new Certificate of Sponsorship from a licensed employer if you wish to change employers. You will also need to undergo a reassessment against the existing points test and the job will need to meet the resident labor market test advertisement requirements (if applicable).
